The objectives of the programme are to&nbsp;<strong>structure and develop ambitious research networks<\/strong>&nbsp;and to facilitate the&nbsp;<strong>development of european projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme is funded in Norway by the Norwegian Research Council (NFR), and in France by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space (MESRE). It is managed by the scientific department of the French Institute of Norway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Who<\/strong>: French and Norwegian research teams. Projects may include one or more additional partners, only French and Norwegian actors will be eligible for the funding programme.<br><strong>When<\/strong>: The programme is spread over two consecutive years. Particular attention will be paid to long-term cooperation projects.<br><strong>How:\u00a0<\/strong>Organisation of a scientific event in France and a scientific event in Norway. Priority will be given in particular to collaborative projects with a European dimension. All areas of research will be considered, but particular attention will be given to the following topics:<br><br>\u25aa Climate science<br>i. Climate system<br>ii. Climate impacts<br>iii. Mitigation, adaptation, and<br>resilience to climate change<br>\u25aa Biodiversity, pollution, and habitat loss<br>\u25aa Land use planning and conservation<br>\u25aa Cultural heritage<br>\u25aa Circular economy<br><br><strong>Call for applications:<\/strong> Online submission of applications on the French Institute in Norway\u2019s website beginning in September; the call closes on October 30 (inclusive).<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CVs of the participants<\/strong> for whom funding is requested and the name and contact details of the<br>main contact person.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Description of the planned research project<\/strong> (3 pages maximum), <em>specifying the objectives in terms of cooperation (funding requests and future call for applications envisaged,<br>etc.).
