The readings will conclude with a discussion with authors Pierre Koestel and Sylvain Milliot.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dramatikkenshus.hoopla.no\/sales\/event\/3195759247\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Book your free tickets!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The theatrical plays are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Apr\u00e8s nous, les ruines<\/em><\/strong><strong> by Pierre Koestel (translation in Norwegian by Olav Torbj\u00f8rn Skare: <em>Bare ruiner igjen<\/em><\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>With Helene Naustdal Bergsholm, Ingjerd Egeberg, Jan S\u00e6lid and Olav Waastad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentation of the work: It all begins on a spring Sunday. Four friends gather for a picnic in a park. At first, the mood is festive, but joy soon gives way to anxiety, as an invisible threat hovers in the air and rumbles beneath the earth, unidentified by anyone. The following night, a catastrophe strikes, creating a crisis that has a lasting effect on the characters\u2019 daily lives. Yet they prefer to ignore the consequences. Season after season, they return to the same park, where they try to return to their old habits. But the catastrophe has changed them, and from then on, we witness the gradual and irreparable disruption of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentation of the author: Pierre Koestel is a playwright and director. Graduated of the master\u2019s degree in literary creation at University Paris VIII and of the playwright department at ENSATT, he has notably written plays for teenagers: <em>Loud<\/em>, winner of the 2019 Artcena Encouragements, <em>Les Ec\u0153urch\u00e9es<\/em> for Anima Cie, <em>Basalte<\/em> for Geneva\u2019s Am Stram Gram theater, and <em>Elio<\/em> pour F\u00e9d\u00e9ration &#8211; Cie Philippe Delaigue. <em>Apr\u00e8s nous, les ruines<\/em> is his first published text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9cart<\/em><\/strong><strong> by Sylvain Milliot (translation in Norwegian by Tove Bakke: <em>P\u00e5 avstand<\/em>)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>With Ingjerd Egeberg, Liv Bernhoft Osa and Jan S\u00e6lid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentation of the work: This text is inspired by a true story told by journalist Michael Finkel in his book <em>The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit<\/em>. Christopher Knights was arrested in 2013 for a series of burglaries in a small tourist area in Maine, USA. Investigators discovered that he had spent 27 years alone in the woods, with no fires, no contacts, surviving on what he stole from vacation homes on the region\u2019s lakeshores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentation of the author: Sylvain Milliot is a musician, composer, author and poet. He has taken part in the creation of a dozen theater shows and sound pieces with the company Moteurs Multiples as author and musician. His poems have been published in magazines in France.
