The Science Division of the French Institute in Norway aims to promote bilateral scientific exchanges between France and Norway. To this end, it supports scientific mobility through grants and awards.
Arctic Frontiers
Every year since 2022, the Science Division of the French Institute in Norway has offered grants to young researchers so they can attend the Arctic Frontiers conference.
FINA Prize
In 2020, the four French Institutes in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden launched the French Institute’s Nordic Prize (FINA).
This prize aims to promote cultural and scientific cooperation between France and the Nordic countries and to recognize the exceptional achievements of young researchers..
France Excellence Research Programme Norway
The France Excellence Research Norway grant is aimed at researchers and PhD students established in a Norwegian institution (e.g. university, laboratory, research institute, etc.) who wish to carry out research and/or have access to scientific equipment in France. It allows them to spend stays of two weeks to three months in a French institution.
