The French Embassy to Norway and Institut français de Norvège have the pleasure of organizing the conference «Funding the arts and culture: the French model of patronage».

The conference will focus on existing and future mechanisms for private financing of cultural projects in France, with French experts presenting the French practices in terms of patronage to professionals from the cultural sector.

Mr. Alain Seban – Senior official and head of cultural institution, President of Centre Pompidou in Paris until February 2015

Mr. Jean-Noël Tronc – Head manager of SACEM (the French collecting payments and distribution of artists rights) from 2012 to 2021

Mrs. Amanda Crabtree – Cultural producer and cofounder of the art production company artconnexion

Mr. Stein Olav Henrichsen – Director of Munch Museum

The moderator of the event will be Mrs. Siri Nodland – Secretary General of Fundraising Norway.
