The call for application for the Aurora Plus programme is open until September 15th, 2021. Apply now to organize french-norwegian scientific events aiming to develop ambitous research networks and to coordinate large-scale international projects !
The scientific department of the French Institute of Norway, together with the Norwegian Research Council, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, are pleased to announce the launch of the call for applications for the Aurora Plus 2022 programme.
Aurora Plus is a French-Norwegian programme to finance the organisation of scientific conferences, workshops and meetings of experts. This support is allocated to researchers of research laboratories associated with higher education establishments or research organizations in France and in Norway. Aurora Plus funds scientific projects that aims to:
- Structure and develop ambitous research networks ;
- Build a long-term scientific cooperation ;
- Prepare collaborative projects on a bilateral or international scale.
Projects may include one or more additional partners, only French and Norwegian actors will be eligible for the funding programme.
Particular attention will be paid to projects whose theme is one of the priorities of the French-Norwegian cooperation and/or of the European Union’s Horizon Europe framework programme for research and innovation. Priority will be given to collaborative projects with a European dimension.
The funding is granted for two consecutive years. It covers the organisation of a scientific event in France and a scientific event in Norway.
Application deadline: September 15, 2021
Publication date of results: December 2021
Project start date: January 2022
