FINA 2022 Ceremony

The Institut Français de Norvège will be organizing on May 19th the official ceremony for the FINA prize.

The Laureate from Norway, Apostolos Tsiouvalas from the University of Tromsø will be here to present his research project on Thinking about ‘motion’ in international law of the sea .

The conference will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a buffet with French snacks and refreshments.

The FINA program was launched in 2020 by four French Institutes in the Nordic region with the aim to promote scientific cooperation between France and the following countries 🇳🇴 🇩🇰 🇫🇮 🇸🇪

Four laureates, one in each country, have been selected for their remarkable achievements as well as the quality and importance of their research project on the thematic of the Ocean. They will be granted a one-week visit in Brest and Paris to meet decisions makers, diplomats, and research institutions in the fields of marine and maritime sciences.
