Four Laureate, one from each country, were selected for their outstanding achievements and the quality and importance of their research project on the theme of the Ocean.
They spent a week in Brest and Paris meeting decision-makers, diplomats and research institutions in the fields of marine and maritime sciences.
The FINA Laureate 2022 :
- Apostolos Tsiouvalas – Norway: «International Law of the Sea».
- Asal Peydaei – Denmark: «Plastic pollution».
- Rami El-Dairi – Finland: «Underwater noise and microplastic pollution».
- Anna Lunde Hermansson – Sweden: «Emissions from ships».
