Arthaus and l’Institut français de Norvège are glad to present the norwegian pre-premiere of Oss To (Deux) by Filippo Meneghetti, on Thursday 20th of August, at Vika Kino.
Nina and Madeleine, two retired women, have been secretly deeply in love for decades. From everybody’s point of view, including Madeleine’s family, they are simply neighbors living on the top floor of their building. They come and go between their two apartments, sharing the tender delights of everyday life together. Until the day their relationship is turned upside down by an unexpected event leading Madeleine’s daughter to slowly unveil the truth about them.
Oss To is the first film by Filippo Meneghetti. It puts in the middle the topic of older ladies loving each other, which is not often seen in films. Between emotions and restraint, this film puts forward the complexity of feelings that Anne, the daughter, deals with, as she is shocked to discover this secret. This film was programmed in several festivals, including Tromsø International Film Festival (TIFF).
With Barbara Sukowa, Martine Chevallier and Léa Drucker.
Oss To screening will be on Thursday 20th August, kl.17.00, at Vika Kino. It will then be out in Norway from the 28th August.
